I just received the news that Intel released thier i5 line and the motherboard have been out of a good while. While I am still building on the the old 775 socket. Anywho.... after reading alittle, I am thinking about scraping all and any current projects to sell and recoup some cash to start this project, but before I start this..... in opinions??
I am going to look at what I have and build one stable system and sell everything that I have.

I will not argue with you on that, but I am definitely looking to save some cash and sell some parts too. The only one runs @ 2.66Ghz, but @ $209, not bad.

What gets me about the boards, is the 4 Ram slots, aren't the i5, triple channel also? Or are they dual channel?

I do live like 15 minutes from both Microcenter and Fry's Electronics. Also I am a bargain hunter but really not up to speed on good chipsets for eitheri7 or i5. I kinda want sli since I have a GTS 250 and maybe get GTS220 later on for physics. But most likely I am gonna trade up my video card in 100 days for something faster.
