I am looking for a new cooler not because i need one its because i want one, like most of the things we buy... True true.....

I am interested to find what air coolers you have and how you would rate them.

At the min I have the Asaka 965 Big Cheep and does the job well, what more do you need for £18 from maplin. It does the job its quiet even on full..

Zalman Big Flower CPS 8000 or summat. Huge copper beast. Keeping this Q9550 happy at 3.6ghz.

I have the 965 on my old computer (now wife's) and it is a good cooler on the E2140, although the nero is better and a similar price nowadays, was 8 quid cheaper than the nero when I got it :)

On mine I have the Xigmatek Achilles and it's a beast and keeps my CPU, X3 720, under 50oC even when it's got the fourth core turned on, overclocked to 3.4GHz and at about 1.45V. Never heard even the slightest noise from it.

I've got a Corsair H50 on my Q9550. I've got a hot running cpu though and it idles at about 50C, whereas with my Thermalright Ultra Extreme, the cpu used to idle at about 40C.
